SHOWS:
To motivate the students of VIFD for exposing their talents and skills of designing, Fashion Shows are the powerful media. VIFD regularly organizing the fashion shows for exhibiting the garments and jewellery designed by the students. In this sequence VIFD has organized two very successful Shows.
First Fashion show: “DESIGNER’S VISION” was organized at Birla Auditorium, jaipur on 22nd April 2001. The National & International fame models Mann Preet Brar( Miss universe runners up & Miss India Winner), Jasmine, Apoorva, Aarti Mehta, Deepika & Ritu singh had participated.
Second Fashion Show: “DESIGNER’S VISION” was held on 16th September 2001, at Birla Auditorium,jaipur and again the National & International fame models Miss Shweta Menon(Miss India & Film Actress) with Jasmine, Anchal Gulati, Amrita, Setu Kumar, Radhika, Anjala Singh had participated. Both the shows were well applaused by the viewers and medias.
INDUSTRIAL INTERNSHIP:
VIFD is managing to put their students in various export oriented garment & jewellery manufacturing units for gaining the practical job exposure, So they can select their specific career of their choice in the industry like: coordinator, merchandiser, fashion stylist etc.
EXHIBITIONS:
VIFD is regularly participating in the various IT & Fashion exhibitions. CULTURAL ACTIVITIES:
Annual Day celebration was held on 30th October 2001, in pink city press club ,jaipur. In which the VIFD students participated in cultural programme and performed no. of Indian & western dances and other programmes.
CAREER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES:
To develop and enhance the knowledge of the students & for improve their skills & total personality to face any competition or interviews and to excel in the segment of their choice regular classes are held in the campus in which various subject expert faculties delivers the lectures.
INDUSTRIAL VISITS:
For actual exposure of export garment and jewellery manufacturing process the regular industrial tours are organized by the VIFD. So the students get true knowledge of the industrial activities.
WORKSHOP:
VIFD is organizing the workshop regularly to impart the regular knowledge to the aspirants of designing courses so they may select the subject of their choice for right career and future.
SEMINARS:
VIFD is regularly organizing the seminars on the various fashion designing subjects by calling the subject experts and visiting faculties to deliver the latest development taking place in the fashion based industries.
